Gifts of Life Insurance
A gift of your life insurance policy is an excellent way to make a gift to The Lovett School.
If you own a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose, consider making a gift of your insurance policy to The Lovett School. For example, you may have purchased a policy to provide for minor children and they are now financially independent adults.
An important but frequently overlooked role of life insurance is the one it can play in charitable gift planning. Life insurance itself can be the direct funding medium for a gift, permitting the donor to make a substantial gift (face value of policy) for a relatively modest annual outlay (i.e., continuing to make annual gifts to Lovett to cover the premium payment).
You can name The Lovett School as a "full" or "partial" beneficiary of your account or life insurance policy. You can also name The Lovett School as a "primary" or "contingent" beneficiary.
